Counselling Psychologist

Job Overview :

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Counselling Psychologist to join our Parent Counselling department. The role focuses on supporting parents through structured counselling, guiding home-based intervention programs for children, and fostering emotional well-being and resilience in the families.

Key Responsibilities:

Parent Counselling:

• Provide individual and group counselling sessions for parents of children with special needs.
• Assist parents in understanding and managing their child’s condition, and offer strategies for coping with associated challenges.
• Facilitate workshops and support groups to create a community of shared experiences and mutual support
• Adolescent Counselling:
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for adolescents, addressing a range of emotional, social, and behavioral issues.
• Develop tailored therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each adolescent client.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure holistic care and support for adolescents.
• Support System Development:
• Design and implement support systems that promote the overall well-being of children with special needs and their families.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate counselling services with other therapeutic interventions.
• Advocate for the needs and rights of children with special needs within the community and educational systems.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Prepare reports and documentation as required by the centre and regulatory bodies.

Evaluate and document the effectiveness of counselling programs and interventions.

Pay: From ₹22,000.00 per month
