Costume Head

Main Role:

Oversees all practical aspects of costume management during a production, ensuring costumes are maintained, organized, and consistent throughout filming or performances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuity: Tracks costume details across scenes to ensure consistency (e.g., stains, wear, accessories match from shot to shot).
• Organization: Manages costume storage, labeling, and transportation.
• Fittings & Alterations: Coordinates fittings with actors and ensures alterations are completed on time.
• On-set Support: Assists actors with costume changes, ensures costumes are ready between takes.
• Budget & Scheduling: Manages the costume budget and rental/return schedule.
• Team Coordination: Supervises wardrobe assistants, dressers, and liaises between the Costume Designer, production, and cast.
• Cleaning & Maintenance: Ensures all garments are cleaned, repaired, and maintained properly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares costumes for each scene.
• Helps actors dress and undress quickly (especially for quick changes).
• Maintains costume continuity during shooting.
• Handles minor repairs, steaming, and cleaning.
• Keeps detailed notes or photos for continuity purposes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
