As a Civil Engineer for Infrastructure at Vasai, you will be responsible for supervising and managing all on-site construction activities. Your role will involve leading the overall site execution strategy in coordination with architects, consultants, and stakeholders. You will be managing the planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple civil works simultaneously. Reviewing structural drawings and design specifications to suggest value engineering and cost-saving solutions will be part of your responsibilities. Maintaining oversight of budgeting, billing, and contractor performance is crucial in this role. You will be required to provide daily updates and progress reports to the principal architect and client through charts, emails, and reports. It is essential to stay on-site during the entire construction period, overseeing project execution, and resolving on-the-ground issues. Ensuring that safety protocols are followed and managing site logistics will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and mentoring junior engineers and site supervisors. To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 6 years of on-site experience. You should be ready to join our full-time office at Vasai Road. The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, designs, and specifications is essential. Strong problem-solving skills for resolving on-site issues effectively, the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, and an understanding of working in CAD software are required qualifications.
