Position Summary: - We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager of Estimation & Costing for our ASH Project. - The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all estimation and costing activities, ensuring accurate project cost assessments, and developing cost-effective strategies. - This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of project management and financial principles. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and prepare detailed cost estimates for the ASH Project, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs. - Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements and potential cost-saving opportunities. - Assist in establishing project budgets, ensuring comprehensive tracking of costs throughout the project lifecycle. - Monitor and control project expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines. - Prepare regular cost reports and assist in the preparation of financial statements related to the ASH Project. - Maintain accurate records of estimations, budgets, and changes throughout the project. - Identify potential risks impacting project costs and develop mitigation strategies to minimize financial exposure. - Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to inform cost estimation processes. Qualifications: - Any degree with 10+ yrs of experience in Estimation and Costing. - Should have good project estimation and costing experience within the construction or engineering sector, with a proven record of managing large-scale projects. - Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, etc.). - Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with various stakeholders. - Knowledge of financial principles and project management methodologies. acc - Professional certification (e.g., AACE, RICS) is a plus. Cost Sheet Analysis: 1. Develop and maintain accurate cost sheets for products/services, including direct and indirect cost components. 2. Conduct detailed analysis of costs to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend optimization strategies. 3. Track and update costs for raw materials, labor, overhead, and other expenses in real-time. 4. Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure cost efficiency in sourcing and manufacturing. 5. Compare actual costs with budgets/estimates and investigate variances to propose corrective actions. Business Finance: 1. Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow reports to support business planning. 2. Provide insights on break-even analysis, pricing strategies, and margin improvement opportunities. 3. Support management in decision-making with detailed cost-benefit analysis for investments and projects. 4. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to finance and costing. Reporting and Collaboration: 1. Present periodic cost analysis reports and financial insights to senior management. 2. Work closely with the accounts team to ensure accurate accounting of costs and inventory. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and achieve cost efficiency. Desired Profile: 1. Should be an ICWA 2. Proven experience (5-7 years) in cost analysis, business finance, or management accounting. 3. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial modelling tools. 4. Familiarity with ERP systems. 5. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES Drive Month close process Review/update std cost on a quarterly basis Analyse BOM vs Actuals, review with plant heads and drive actions Provide variance insights (labor hours, cost per unit, usage) and implement actions Participate in various cost reduction programs Analyse inventory ageing and drive actions REQUIREMENTS Education: CA / ICWA Experience: 3 - 6 years Proficient in: SAP, MS Excel

Preparing and publishing the Budget vs Actual MIS every month for Operations and Quality o Preparing and publishing Cost MIS every month o Reasoning out the cost variance (saves or outages) with the help of the teams and experience of cost trends o Calculation of run rate and burn rate vs. allocated budgets. o Check for anomaly and work with Finance team on reversal of the same. Ensuring correct cost provision and invoice bookings o Preparing monthly cost view for Senior management and presenting on monthly basis Preparing and publishing Monthly Cost Per transaction (CPT) o Preparing the monthly CPT dashboard by collecting transaction and cost data from different Ops teams o Presenting variation analysis to senior management o Ensuring the methodology is representative of the current expense situation. Collating the annual budget requirements from all functions and sharing with Financial Planning and Analysis team. Detailing out all the assumptions and initiatives. o Working with Senior management for budget approvals. Deploying the final approved budget incorporating the expense seasonality Being the SPOC of Cost bookings and Budget for Operations and Quality Evaluate expenses and make recommendations on decisions involving Cost Management to senior management along with program leaders Bring an outside in perspective to the business problem. Use networks within and outside of the industry to learn best practices and evaluate how they can be used and applied to Max Lifes business problems.

Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures for aerospace products and projects. Analyze and report on cost variances, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Prepare detailed cost estimates for new products, projects, and proposals. Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost data and forecasts. Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring costs are within approved limits. Requirements: Qualified Cost Accountant (ICWA) Proven experience in cost accounting or financial analysis within the aerospace industry. Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and cost structures. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in cost accounting software and financial analysis tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements in aerospace costing.
