Cost Planning & Tendering Minimum 3 years experience Salary : Negotiable Location : Porur, Chennai Key Roles and Responsibilities: Cost Planner/Estimator: Develops detailed cost plans and budgets for projects. Prepares cost estimates based on Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and other project data. Identifies potential cost risks and develops mitigation strategies. Monitors actual costs against budget and identifies variances. Tendering Manager/Officer: Prepares and submits tender documents, including BOQs, project specifications, and drawings. Conducts market research to understand current pricing for materials, labor, and equipment. Analyzes incoming tenders and provides recommendations for contract award. Manages the tendering process, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements. Cost Consultant: Provides expert advice on cost management and planning throughout the project lifecycle. Supports the tendering process by developing initial cost estimates, preparing tender documentation, and evaluating bids. Negotiates tender and contract terms to align with project budgets. Financial Controllers/Accountants: Provide oversight for cost planning and ensure financial reporting aligns with project budgets. May be involved in change order management and cost variance analysis. Construction Architects/Design Teams: Provide input on cost elements and their alignment with the overall project scope. Work with cost planners to ensure that designs are cost-effective and feasible.
