As a Purchasing Buyer responsible for Operational Purchasing activities supporting the North America Market, you will collaborate closely with the North America Category Implementation Buyer and Cross Functional Teams located in NA. Your role involves working as a Stamping Buyer for Exterior Commodities, specifically handling Sheetmetal Stamping, Structures, Plastic Trim Injection Molded, Compression, and Thermoforming parts. It is crucial to work collaboratively with the NA sourcing Buyer and Cross Functional Team to support Purchasing/Supply Chain activities post Commercial Purchasing Agreement sign off until the End of Production. Your key responsibilities will include placing Purchase Orders/Transfer Orders on time, executing Multi-Year/Calendar Year claims as per the agreement, conducting cost analysis, validating engineering change costs, reviewing Cost Breakdown/Tooling Cost, developing zero-based costing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, resolving commercial issues, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. Regular reporting to Management, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and leading Capacity Uplift kick-offs to suppliers are integral parts of your role. Moreover, you will be responsible for Resourcing Actions such as requests from suppliers, de-risking, contingent actions, and cost savings initiatives. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 6-10 years of experience in OEM environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a strong background in Commodity Purchasing, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Development, and Supply Chain are essential. You must possess good analytical and problem-solving abilities and be willing to work flexible late evening shifts to meet the demands of the role.,
