The Cost Analyst for Internal Costing within GCOE is responsible for technical and economical valuation of concepts and engineering changes of automotive interior, esp. instrument panels, door panels and center consoles, including latest technologies and materials: The IReC Cost Analyst is responsible for settling of all the work packages of the function according to the current version of the program management system (PMS). Among the tasks mentioned in PMS, the Cost Analyst has the following main tasks and responsibilities: Support analysis of RFQs and calculation requests Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings Validation of technical and economical feasability Analysing of industrial flowchart proposed by Industrial Strategy in consideration of PMS Preparation of industrial flowcharts followed by validation with Industrial Strategy Valuation of production costs for manufacturing based on production volume and assembly following Faurecia Interior Systems principles. The BOP cost analyst within GCOE is responsible for the calculation of target costs and to evaluate the technical and economical estimations of concepts and engineering changes, of all automotive interior bought-out parts. The BOP Cost Analyst is responsible for settling of all the work packages of the function according to the current version of the program management system (PMS). Among the tasks mentioned in PMS, the BOPs cost Analyst has the following most important tasks and responsibilities: Analyzing of the RFQ documents Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings Verification of the technical and economical feasibility For certain technologies the preparation of a process flow with subsequent validation by GTS (Global Technology & Standard) Calculation of the purchase prices EXW for the manufacturing of bought-out parts (BOP) Creation of a costing file according to Faurecia Reference Costing (FReC) methodology to calculate the purchase price Creation of a BOP summary file according to FReC template including the agreed values from Purchasing dept. We are hiring for the role of MM Cost Analyst requirement for Chennai location Responsible for the overall accuracy and time lines of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting related to our product line at our manufacturing facility in the India. This will include reconciliation and analysis of Sales, costs & Inventory. Prepare and maintain product cost data like material / labor / Subcontract / variable & fixed overhead. Report on quantities, valuation, sales and usage of inventory, Product Changeover / Engineering change note. Report on financial performance and manufacturing statistics Provide analysis of variances with written comments Support the Product Line Manager in analyzing the product line performance and ad hoc reports and projects. Maintain and calculate direct labor and overhead rates and perform quarterly analysis of standard vs actual. SOX audit documentation and IGAAP audit supporting to Manager. Requirements Ideally Degree with ICWA / CA part qualified or qualified by experience Proficient excel skills, communication, and overall 5 to 8 years of experience above tasks. Have experience in a similar manufacturing cost accounting role QAD ERP and Hyperion Tm1 are added advantage. Every month beginning first Sunday half day need to work, and monthly at least 2 Saturday working, During month end / Quarter closing time late evening must support to Manager / Divisional Controller.
