Cost Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Should have hands on experience in preparing Process Costing of API and bulk drugs products.
• Preparation and analysis of monthly product cost reports.
• Conducting cost review meetings with the Plant and PM teams.
• Identifying and analyzing cost variances and providing detailed insights.
• Monitoring and updating overhead costs on a periodic basis.
• Supporting process efficiency improvements through cost analysis.
• Assisting in the preparation of costing models for new and existing processes.
• Ensuring accurate allocation of costs to different processes and cost centers.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Competencies (Technical, Functional & Behavioural)

• Strong understanding of process costing methodologies and cost allocation principles.
• Should have hands on experience in preparing Process Costing of API and bulk drugs products.
• Experience in variance analysis, cost control, and efficiency tracking.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFTs) for cost-related decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Added Advantage if person posses functional experience of ERP( Oracle, SAP, Jd Edwards)

implementation and BI tools.
