Job Title: Assistant Manager – Costing Location: Jaipur Department: Finance / Costing Drop updated CV on WhatsApp +916267998659 (call only if urgent) or email admin@hr99global.com Job Purpose: To develop and maintain effective costing systems for Ayurvedic manufacturing operations, ensuring cost efficiency, accurate inventory control, variance management, and compliance with standards. Roles and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain costing methods aligned with Ayurvedic manufacturing (raw materials, WIP, finished goods, labor, overheads). Analyze production costs and variances; identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare monthly/quarterly cost reports with insights on trends and deviations. Conduct internal audits focused on inventory, wastage, and cost control. Review and validate BOMs and product costings. Detect inefficiencies in manufacturing and recommend corrective actions. Ensure accurate cost allocation for herbal ingredients and complex formulations. Support new product cost estimations and improvements. Perform surprise inventory audits across material categories. Evaluate vendor pricing trends and support procurement cost optimization. Ensure compliance with internal costing policies and statutory standards (e.g., GST). Assist in budgeting, variance analysis, and strategic cost planning. Train production and finance teams on cost control best practices. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs): Maintain accurate product costing systems. Conduct scheduled internal audits and resolve findings. Analyze and report cost variances with corrective actions. Lead cost optimization initiatives across functions. Improve inventory accuracy via regular audits and reconciliations. Ensure timely submission of costing reports. Provide precise cost sheets for new and improved products. Monitor and reduce raw material and production wastage.
