As a Reference Data Services Rep 5 at our company, you will be responsible for performing relatively complex assignments with a direct impact on the business by ensuring the quality of tasks or services provided. You will work under little to no direct supervision and may handle an expansive array of products/services. Your role will require applying working knowledge of technical and professional principles and concepts, along with in-depth knowledge of team objectives. You will understand how your assigned duties contribute to the team/unit's work and how units coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve the function's objectives. Additionally, you will ensure quality and service for yourself and others, recommending new options to enhance productivity within guidelines and demonstrating tact and diplomacy when exchanging complex or sensitive information with others. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work on shifting rotation - Perform ongoing maintenance/refresh of existing customer data - Set up and maintain settlement instructions in various internal applications - Interact daily with global operation teams to ensure timely update of all settlement instructions - Actively monitor settlement rates to ensure correct updating of instructions - Liaise with other operations teams globally to ensure timely addition of settlement instructions to accounts - Source settlement instructions from clients in response to various requirements - Deliver reference data remediation projects as requested - Provide oversight of offshore vendor activity - Complete all mandatory reports in a timely and standard-compliant manner - Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, with a focus on safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets **Qualifications:** - 1-2 years of relevant experience - Relevant Corporate Actions Asset Service experience - Experience in investment banking capital market knowledge - Knowledge of SSI data and familiarity with external products/services adding value to client and account data management - Knowledge of end-to-end trade flow across multiple products - Bachelor's degree or equivalent education In this role, you will play a crucial part in the Reference Data Services team, ensuring the accurate and timely management of settlement instructions and customer data.
