About the Role As a Business Development Intern, you’ll play a key role in expanding Corkage’s footprint in the Horeca sector (cafes, restaurants, hotels) and distributors, while also supporting D2C sales. You’ll learn how sustainable brands grow in India, work closely with the founder, and get hands-on exposure to sales, partnerships, and brand-building. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation: Research and build a pipeline of potential Horeca clients (cafes, restaurants, boutique hotels, resorts). Identify and connect with distributors and retail partners. Outreach & Relationship Building: Support in cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and calls. Assist in scheduling meetings, demos, and product sample drops. Sales Support: Maintain CRM/lead trackers and update progress. Prepare pitch decks, product catalogs, and follow-up communication. Market Research: Track competitors, pricing, and upcoming Horeca trends. Share insights on new opportunities and potential expansion. Execution Assistance: Help in setting up product stalls, pop-ups, or client demos. Support distributors with sample kits and product information. Who We’re Looking For Students/recent grads with an interest in business, sales, or marketing . Strong communication skills (English + Hindi, regional language is a plus). Hustle mindset: comfortable reaching out to clients, chasing leads, and problem-solving. Passion for sustainability, hospitality, or design is a big plus.
