Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Core SQL Developer to join our team in Chennai (Hybrid). The candidate must have hands-on experience in SQL development, stored procedures, query optimization, performance tuning, and database scalability. This is a contract position for professionals who can join immediately and work effectively in UK shift hours.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SQL stored procedures, functions, and complex queries.
Perform query optimization, profiling, and performance tuning for large-scale databases.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency of SQL Server database systems.
Collaborate with application and data teams to support database design, migration, and deployment.
Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot performance issues in existing database logic.
Monitor, document, and maintain database processes and scripts.

Requirements

5-8 years of strong hands-on experience in SQL development.
Excellent knowledge of stored procedures, functions, SQL scripting, triggers, and indexes.
Expertise in query tuning and performance optimization.
Experience with SQL Server database management and scalability design.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Must be available to work in UK shift and join immediately.

Contract Details

Mode: Hybrid Chennai (3 Days a Week)

Shift: UK Shift

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only

Duration: Long-Term Contract (Extendable)
