Core PHP / WordPress

As a skilled and passionate Core PHP / WordPress Backend Developer, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins. - Build and integrate backend components using Core PHP and WordPress APIs. - Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability. - Debug and troubleshoot code issues in a timely manner. - Work with the front-end team to integrate UI/UX elements. - Maintain website security, backups, and updates. - Manage and update MySQL databases for dynamic website content. - Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions. - Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Required Skills: - Strong proficiency in Core PHP and OOP (Object-Oriented Programming). - Proficient in WordPress architecture, plugin and theme development. - Hands-on experience with MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Good understanding of RESTful APIs and AJAX. - Experience with version control systems like Git. - Familiarity with cPanel, Apache/Nginx, and basic Linux commands. - Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques. In addition, the company values your Bachelor's degree and expects at least 2 years of experience in Core PHP / WordPress development.
