Core Java - (8-12 years)

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Application Design Development

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.

• Build and enhance microservices-based architectures and ensure seamless integration across systems.

• Write clean, reusable, and optimized code following best practices and coding standards.

2. System Architecture Technical Leadership

• Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.

• Break down complex business problems into scalable technical solutions.

• Review code, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers.

• Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve system performance.

3. Microservices Ownership API Development

• Develop, deploy, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for distributed systems.

• Ensure services are fault-tolerant, resilient, and adhere to best practices in service communication.

• Implement event-driven architectures, message queues, and async processing where required.

4. Performance, Security Quality Assurance

• Conduct performance analysis and tuning for backend services.

• Implement secure coding practices, authentication/authorization, and data protection mechanisms.

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support QA teams during test cycles.

5. DevOps CI/CD Collaboration

• Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy services using CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure systems run reliably in cloud/on-prem environments through monitoring and log management.

• Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and post-release improvements.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work with Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, and Business Analysts to understand requirements.

• Translate business needs into high-quality technical solutions.

• Communicate effectively across teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.

7. Documentation Process Compliance

• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and service definitions.

• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required Skills Competencies

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8/11+)

• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud

• Microservices architecture development deployment

• REST API development, JSON/XML, API security

• Database experience:

• Experience with message brokers: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar

• Familiarity with containerization: Docker, Kubernetes

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions

• Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to lead modules, mentor team members, and handle complex tasks

• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision

Education

• BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Experience Required

• 8.1 – 12 Years

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise applications is preferred.
