Copywriter & Content Writer (Intern)

The ideal candidate for this role is a creative team player, talented wordsmith, and grammar sleuth who will be responsible for developing marketing and communications content that will set the company apart from the competition. - Write and edit copy for various communications including flyers, catalogues, email marketing, social media, digital advertising, product pages, customer resources, internal documents and more. - Write long form and short form content for SEO. - Write, edit and proofread digital/website content such as articles, buying guides, social media and blog content. - Ensure copy consistency of message across media, reviewing copy font, format and style, consistency in product information and proofreading spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc. - Supervise, edit, and guide the technical writing of new and revised standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Collaborate with training teams to have job aids and training documentations created where necessary. - Other duties and special projects as assigned by management. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree or technical diploma in communications, journalism, marketing, English or related field. - Minimum of 1-3 years of experience. - Highly organized with strong attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrating strong grammar and copywriting abilities. - Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. - Digital-native, fluent in social media platforms with an understanding of best practices across digital channels. - Understanding basic SEO best practices and planning/implementation. - Team player with a positive attitude. - Self-driven and motivated with a strong work ethic. - Natural drive for excellence and continuous optimization.
