Writing award-winning copies should come naturally to you. You should have exceptional creativity running in your veins. A wide vocabulary at par with Mr. Tharoor, with a memory of Mick Ross and observational skills like that of Sherlock. Ability to bring everyone together and create an engaged and productive workforce. Ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. On-site Agency : PivotRoots Job Description : Writes and supervises all copy and creative pieces across communication forms including sales aids, promotional pieces, direct, etc.; Supervises others and may have direct client contact. The Copy Supervisor (CS) is responsible for generating ideas for advertising and promotional copy, developing texts from draft stage through finished product. The CS works closely with creative and account teams to ensure adherence to clients marketing strategies and objectives within specified deadlines. The CS supervises junior writers on projects and works with an Art Supervisor in partnership to generate concepts. - Lead and execute long-form copy development for one or more brand engagements across audiences in the clients sectors. - Know all aspects of the brand. - Build strong relationships with Creative, Account Client brand teams, such that each group identifies you as the holder of all copy, editorial and clinical knowledge for the brand. - Partner with Creative, Account and Client teams to ensure copy that advances creative brief objectives and accomplishes marketing objectives. - Point person for original (directed) copy development on assigned client engagements, including both tactical projects (websites and interactive marketing applications) and creative campaigns. - Build leadership cooperation with Editorial to engender obsessive attention to narrative consistency, voice tone, and accuracy of content. - Write, reference and annotate copy in preparation for medical/legal review in a deadline-focused environment. - See copy decks and manuscripts through development and to launch (in partnership with Editorial). - Deliver fluent knowledge of interactive capabilities, content development and editorial flow. - Develop original content for new projects. - Help mentor more junior Copy Writers, developing their ability to produce quality work.
