Copy Editor - Scholarly Publications

You are looking for a full-time on-site Copy Editor position at Granthaalayah Publications and Printers in Indore. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the grammatical correctness and precise editing of scholarly publications, while also ensuring that they adhere to company standards. Daily tasks will include proofreading, text editing, and formatting using JATS XML, EPUB, and HTML. Collaboration with writers and the editorial team will be essential to maintain a consistent and high-quality publication process. To excel in this role, you should have excellent grammar and proofreading skills, strong text editing and editorial capabilities, and proficiency in writing. Experience with JATS XML, EPUB, and HTML formatting is required, and a Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Attention to detail, consistency, and accuracy is crucial, along with effective communication and collaboration skills. Prior experience in academic or scholarly publishing would be an advantage.,
