Role & responsibilities Plant Head Copper Wires & Rods Manufacturing Unit – KRA 1 Production & Operations Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets (in MT). Maximize machine uptime and plant capacity utilization. Drive productivity through process optimization (drawing, annealing, extrusion). Implement lean manufacturing and 5S across the shop floor. 2 Quality Control & Assurance Ensure zero-defect production with adherence to BIS/ISO standards. Analyze rejections and implement corrective actions (RCA). Maintain and improve internal quality audits and customer satisfaction. 3 Maintenance & Asset Management Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Reduce equipment breakdowns and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). Monitor maintenance KPIs and cost control. 4 Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Ensure full compliance with EHS policies and local regulations. Conduct monthly safety audits, drills, and awareness programs. Strive toward zero-incident and zero-pollution targets. 5 Cost Control & Efficiency Monitor and control raw material yield, energy consumption, and utility costs. Reduce production cost/MT through process improvements. Minimize scrap and optimize process waste management. 6 Manpower & Team Management Lead a cross-functional team with clear performance goals. Train and upskill operators, engineers, and support staff. Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and performance. 7 Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination Coordinate with SCM for raw material and finished goods planning. Maintain optimal stock levels (raw material, WIP, FG) as per norms. Ensure timely dispatches to avoid demurrage or delays. 8 Compliance & Reporting Adhere to all statutory, labor, and factory compliance norms. Submit timely MIS reports on production, safety, cost, quality. Prepare for and lead external audits (certifications, legal, customer). 9 Customer Focus Understand customer product requirements and specifications. Ensure on-time delivery with quality compliance. Work with sales and quality teams to minimize customer complaints. Profit & Loss (P&L) Responsibility Own the plant’s overall P&L performance. Prepare and manage plant budgets (OPEX & CAPEX). Analyze financial statements monthly and drive decisions to meet margin targets. Optimize manpower, materials, energy, and overheads to maximize EBITDA. Align plant operations with corporate financial goals. Preferred candidate profile Experience in copper rods 8mm , 10mm rods manufacturing , copper cables and wires manufacturing

Should be able to lead a team of 20-40 technical staff and vendors 4. Knowledge of AutoCAD preferred 5. Should have basic knowledge of BIM models 6. Be willing to travel across India on short notice based on project requirements
