Coordinator - Procurement

Job Description: As a Procurement Coordinator at Exela in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, you will be responsible for managing procurement processes efficiently and effectively to support the company's operations. Your role will involve working European Time hours and utilizing your 2 to 4 years of work experience in procurement. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing, issuing, and managing Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and Requests for Proposal (RFP) to suppliers. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define procurement requirements and evaluation criteria. - Ensure all RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulations. - Identify, evaluate, and shortlist potential vendors based on sourcing needs. - Maintain an organized supplier database with key contact details, pricing, and contract information. - Support the supplier pre-qualification and onboarding processes. - Draft, organize, and maintain procurement documentation, and supplier performance records. - Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and regulatory requirements. - Track and manage contract renewals, extensions, and performance metrics. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Proficiency in French and German (both written and spoken). - Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices. - Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
