As a Data Platform Specialist at Siemens Energy, your primary responsibility will involve setting up and monitoring data acquisition systems to ensure a smooth and reliable flow of data on a daily basis. Your expertise in creating and refining dashboards and digital services, as well as your ability to offer technical guidance and support to your peers, will be crucial. Furthermore, your involvement in the development and migration of Siemens Energy's data analysis platform towards a centralized and scalable solution will be instrumental in driving efficiency. Implementing and fine-tuning rule-based systems for automated condition monitoring to enhance data analysis efficiency, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to streamline data management processes will also be essential aspects of your work. To succeed in this position, you should hold a Masters degree in Data Engineering, Cloud Computing, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience. Your proficiency in managing and optimizing ETL pipelines of varying complexities, along with your expertise in AWS services such as Athena, Transfer Family (SFTP), CloudWatch, Lambda, and S3 Buckets, will be beneficial. Additionally, your skills in data analysis tools like Alteryx, programming languages such as Python and SQL, and experience with rule-based systems for automated condition monitoring will be valuable assets. Being a proactive and innovative problem-solver with excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in English, and the ability to collaborate effectively with partners and manage task packages will contribute to your success in this role.
