Job Title: Conventional Milling Machine Operator
Responsibilities:
Machine Operation:
Operate conventional milling machines (vertical, horizontal, or universal) to shape metal, plastic, and composite work pieces according to specifications.
Setup & Tooling:
Install and change cutting tools and set up the work piece on the machine table for accurate machining.
Process Monitoring:
Monitor the machining operations and make necessary adjustments to the machine to ensure components meet dimensional and quality requirements.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products to confirm they adhere to specified tolerances and quality standards.
Maintenance:
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of the milling machine to ensure it is in good working condition.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including proper handling of materials and waste disposal, and use appropriate fire safety equipment when needed.
Workplace Safety:
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and assist in the maintenance of first aid and safety equipment.
