Implement segregation of duties and anti-cash controls; lead remediation to reduce/replace cash handling. Support audit and regulatory inquiries with organized evidence and defensible processes. Systems, Data & Reporting Lead stack implementation and optimization: QuickBooks Online Advanced, Dext, Plooto (and payroll platform). Build reliable data flows from sales → invoices → commissions → payouts → GL. Produce weekly operational dashboards and monthly controller packs (P&L, BS, CF, margins, job/region profitability, KPIs). Policy, Controls & Change Management Translate business chaos into clear procedures; hold teams accountable to deadlines and documentation. Train client admins/sales leaders on the “single source of truth” and consistent national policies. Act as the finance gatekeeper: set expectations, push back when needed, and protect process integrity. Leadership & Collaboration Mentor a small delivery pod (onsite liaison) dedicated to this account. Communicate proactively with client executives (concise memos, clear options). Success Metrics (90-Day Outcomes) 30 days: SOPs drafted; entity-by-entity gap assessment; weekly close cadence live for top-volume entities (2). 60 days: Commission workflow (setter/closer) live; payment controls & documentation SLA at >95% on-time. 90 days: Consolidated monthly reporting package live; GST/WorkSafe calendars automated; exception rate down >70%; onsite reliance reduced as virtual processes stabilize. Qualification and requirements: 7+ years progressive accounting experience, including multi-entity controllership (public or industry).
