Control System Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and Test hardware systems for Metal rolling system, Metal processing and other Electrical Automation Systems
• Control Systems Engineering consisting of Hardware engineering, PLC programming and HMI/SCADA
• Work with other electrical and control engineers to integrate unit level hardware and software modules into overall system which meet customer requirements as defined in project specifications.
• Interface between Drives and Automation system using different field networks e.g. Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet, Profinet
• Support Site commissioning activities. Travel around 30% based on project requirements.
• Work with Lead engineers/Lead a team to demonstrate that engineered functions meet customer requirements as defined in project specifications.
• Generate supporting documentation as per project and customer requirements.
• Adhere to engineering best practices, design standards, and engineering processes for the development. Suggest and implement improvements to processes and standards when appropriate.
• Work within a multi-discipline engineering team consisting of Control, Hardware, Level 2 & Drive engineers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3- 6 years of experience with bachelors degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Background and experience in application of Hardware engineering & PLC Programming & Drives
• Good Academic Records.
• Ability to travel to customer sites worldwide if required.
• Effective communication skills
• Strong Interpersonal skills, Self-motivated and innovative

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of PLC programming languages.
• Knowledge in AutoCAD / Eplan or other Electrical Design software.
• Proficiency in Excel, Visio and Microsoft Projects
• Knowledge of HMI or SCADA
• Strong fundamental of Electrical Machine and control theory.
• Field engineering and Drive commissioning experience
