Control Engineer - PPC (Production Planning and Control)

Role Overview: As a Production Control specialist at Tata Electronics, you will play a crucial role in aligning the daily production strategy to the overall demand plan, preparing MPS & Machine Loading chart, and ensuring the plan versus actual targets are met. Your responsibilities will include line balancing, monitoring target versus actual performance, and achieving production targets with effective utilization of manpower. You will also focus on achieving zero BAD (Breakdowns, Accidents & Defects) by implementing lean manufacturing techniques. Key Responsibilities: - Align the daily production strategy with the demand plan provided by the central planning team - Prepare MPS & Machine Loading chart and ensure plan versus actual targets are met - Conduct regular Gemba walks with the operations team to ensure daily targets are achieved - Escalate any losses affecting the target plan to the Senior Management Team - Identify risks and work with the Cross-Functional Team to develop mitigation plans - Monitor target versus actual performance and take necessary actions - Balance production lines, sequence production flow, and schedule production activities - Utilize SAP and scheduling software to release work orders and monitor plan versus actual performance - Achieve sales and operations targets as per Annual Operating Plan (AOP) - Focus on implementing lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency - Monitor and review manufacturing order aging and ensure timely closure of orders as per Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Qualifications: - BE in Mechanical, Production, or Electronics and Communication Engineering - Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, or Electronics and Communication Engineering Experience: - BE candidates should have 2-6 years of experience in production control - Diploma candidates should have 2-6 years of experience in production control Note: This job description provides an overview of the key responsibilities and qualifications required for the Production Control position at Tata Electronics.,
