As a dedicated Nurse, you will be responsible for providing total care to the allotted patients. Your primary focus will be on ensuring compliance with nursing manuals and protocols at all times during your duty hours. Following medical prescriptions and orders to meet the patients" needs will be a crucial part of your role. In addition, you will be expected to maintain minimum housekeeping standards and engage in departmental interfaces as required. A key aspect of your responsibilities will involve completing thorough handovers of your assigned patients, including physically checking on patients and their units. You will also be accountable for special assignments such as checking crash carts, monitoring inventory, and any other tasks delegated by the in-charge nurse. Your role will require meticulous planning, organization, and delivery of nursing care in alignment with organizational values, with a focus on healing, health promotion, and complication prevention. Maintaining accurate nursing records, including nurses" notes, charts, consents, and initial assessment data for all patients, will be essential according to established protocols. Effective communication will be vital in ensuring continuity of care, both internally with various departments and externally with customers. You will be responsible for receiving and orienting newly admitted patients, as well as collecting and submitting all relevant documents promptly to facilitate smooth transfers or discharge processes. Accompanying critical and helpless patients during transfers will also be part of your duties. Conducting nursing procedures following established protocols, providing relevant health education to patients and their families, and documenting the education provided will be integral to your role. Additionally, you will be expected to demonstrate compassion and professionalism in caring for dying patients and accompanying deceased individuals to the mortuary. Furthermore, you may be required to administer contrast as directed by the radiologist. A preferred qualification for this role is a Diploma, and a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.
