Summary Job Summary The Senior Contract Specialist supports and reports to the Head - Legal for Babcock Power APAC Private Ltd. (“BPAPAC”) based out of Chennai Essential Responsibilities Review, negotiate, and draft terms and conditions for agreements with customers and others to ensure adequate protection and a reasonable risk allocation in compliance with corporate risk standards. Review and coordinate customer purchase orders. Coordinate requests for letters of credit and bank guarantees with the Finance Department for BP APAC and other company personnel. Coordinate insurance matters with the Corporate Risk Manager including claims and certificates of insurance. Review certificates of insurance and insurance policies received from vendors. Prepare written consents and other corporate governance documentation as directed. Perform compliance due diligence and coordinate efforts with corporate compliance counsel. Perform legal research as directed. Track and coordinate responses to customer compliance requirements through third party software programs. Provide administrative support to the Legal Department including the following, uploading agreements and purchase orders to ContractPodAI. Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge And Abilities Extensive knowledge and understanding of various commercial terms and conditions, including legal and commercial implications. Working knowledge of power generation industry and/or construction industry practices and legal standards. Able to effectively prioritize tasks and maintain superior attention to detail and quality. Able to communicate effectively by written and verbal means. Able to work well independently and work effectively in a group setting. Be proactive and take ownership of job responsibilities. Appreciation of and professional maturity to maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information. Education Bachelor’s degree in law from a reputed law school is preferred. Company can also consider candidates in a relevant field like engineering, business, finance, or management having suitable experience in contracting and contract management. Minimum of 9 years of experience in contracting and contract administration involving legal issues and negotiation. Job Description Summary The Consultant / Configuration Engineer is responsible for configuring and maintaining ContractPodAi CLM environments to meet customer requirements and project specifications. This role involves setting up workflows, templates, roles, and permissions within the CPAi CLM platform. The Configuration Engineer will work closely with the Technical Lead, business analysts, and project teams to ensure that CPAi CLM configurations are accurately executed and meet business and compliance requirements. Job Responsibilities: Configure ContractPodAi CLM to meet client specifications, including creating templates, workflows, and approval hierarchies. Implement roles, permissions, and user access policies in CPAi CLM. Collaborate with business analyst and technical lead to translate business requirements into technical configurations. Test and validate configurations to ensure they meet functional requirements and provide a seamless user experience. Troubleshoot configuration issues and work with the Technical Lead to resolve complex problems. Maintain and update documentation on all configurations, ensuring accuracy and availability for future reference. Assist in user training and provide post-implementation support as needed. Qualification / Skills : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience. 3+ years of relevant experience configuring contract lifecycle management (CLM) solutions, with a focus on ContractPodAi CLM preferred. Strong understanding of ContractPodAi CLMs configuration capabilities, including workflows, templates, and approval processes. Familiarity with CLM best practices, compliance requirements, and process optimization. Experience in technical documentation, testing, and validation of configurations. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer success. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
