As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the solar energy sector, with a specific focus on the Commercial and Industrial segments. You will lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from proposal submissions and presentations to negotiations and contract closures, working closely with technical teams to ensure the feasibility and technical integrity of proposed projects. Moreover, you will be expected to develop and execute strategies aimed at expanding the company's market presence and enhancing revenue streams. Providing detailed reports on business development activities, market analysis, and competitor performance to senior management will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with internal teams to ensure timely project delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction is essential. Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company's services and products is also a key aspect of this role. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in the solar energy industry, with a proven track record in business development, sales, and project management. A strong understanding of solar power technologies, installation processes, and industry regulations is required. Experience in managing and leading sales cycles, including negotiation and contract management, is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, along with the ability to effectively engage with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in making data-driven decisions are also necessary. A willingness to travel as needed is expected, and candidates with an MBA or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field will be preferred. Previous experience with solar companies, project bids, or solar EPC projects will be an advantage. Preferred skills for this role include knowledge of solar industry trends and market dynamics in the Rajasthan region, as well as a strong network within the local solar industry, encompassing key stakeholders, contractors, and regulators.
