This is an important role within the overall IT Risk Management function. You will be responsible for developing and reviewing processes and policies related to Bank Technology to identify, assess, and mitigate technology risks. Working closely with IT and Business teams, as well as other enabling functions, you will evaluate new and existing technologies and regulatory requirements from a risk assessment and mitigation perspective. You will collaborate with various functions to create assessment processes and checklists, review them periodically, and ensure their adherence by all stakeholders. Additionally, you will recommend Key Risk Indicators for the IT environment to maintain a robust framework and monitor system availability, aiming for continuous improvement. You will need to have a deep understanding of IT Audit, IT Risk Management frameworks, technology-related regulatory requirements in the banking industry, and global standards. Expertise in technology architectures, development and deployment models, IT lifecycle, and technologies such as OS, DB, Network Infra, PKI, API, Encryption, and Security testing will be essential. In terms of leadership skills, you will be required to develop and lead a team to evaluate technology risks based on their unique selling points, technology expertise, bandwidth, and experience. Ensuring that the team possesses the necessary expertise and knowledge, you will work closely with IT and other enabling functions to manage relationships with Risk Management as the primary goal. Upholding high standards of due diligence, ethical behavior, and integrity, you will collaborate constructively with various functions to balance Risk Management and Business enablement. You will also be responsible for periodically reviewing policies and procedures to enhance the risk management framework for IT Risk Management. Monitoring regulatory compliance requirements, conducting independent reviews of IT policies and processes, and driving risk identification, assessment, and mitigation will be part of your responsibilities. Reporting areas of concern and risk trends to senior management, assisting in regulatory reporting, and liaising with internal compliance teams will also be crucial aspects of your role. Educational Qualifications: - Graduation: BE/B Tech - Post Graduate: M Tech/ MBA / MCA, etc. Key Skills: - Strong Technical Background with hands-on experience in developing and managing IT Risk Framework - Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders - Experience in complex IT projects and initiatives - Ability to work under pressure and for extended hours - Excellent analytical, communications, and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of current trends in banking/financial industry technologies Experience Required: - Minimum 15-20 years of experience in Technology Risk Management and Risk Assessment - Experience in various IT solutions and platforms - Deep understanding of technology lifecycle - Experience in highly regulated environments - Experience in Technology Risk automation solutions - Up-to-date knowledge of IT Risk and banking industry trends - Strong people management skills and the ability to bring out the best in a team,
