Content Writer

Position Overview

The Content Writer will create clear, engaging, and educational content to support the school’s communication, marketing, and branding efforts. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented professional who can craft compelling stories, newsletters, blog posts, and promotional materials tailored to the education sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and edit original content for newsletters, blogs, social media, brochures, and website pages.
• Research educational topics and school activities to create informative and relevant content.
• Conduct interviews with staff, students, and parents to gather stories and insights.
• Proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create multimedia content.
• Optimize content for SEO to increase online visibility and engagement.
• Maintain and manage the content calendar to meet deadlines.
• Ensure all content aligns with the school’s brand voice and messaging guidelines.
• Monitor content performance metrics and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of professional writing experience, preferably in the education sector.
• Proven ability to write engaging and clear content for diverse audiences.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and interviewing abilities.
• Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and basic SEO principles.
• Detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
