At Monk Entertainment, we are seeking a Content Strategist, Brand Solutions who is deeply passionate about content creation, particularly in the realm of video production. If you find yourself constantly innovating new content formats and are known to save your best jokes for your next writing opportunity, then this position is tailored for you. Your responsibilities will revolve around generating ideas, crafting concepts, and developing brand proposals and pitches in close collaboration with our Business Development and strategy teams spanning various sectors. To excel in this role, you must possess a genuine zeal for generating ideas and the ability to meticulously leverage consumer insights and market trends to craft innovative and impactful concepts. Key Skills Required: 1. Ability to grasp the brand brief and strategy and transform them into compelling concepts, scripts, and narratives that can be translated into bespoke content. 2. Proficient Oral Presentation Skills: Capable of effectively pitching concepts, show treatments, and scripts to brands, persuading them to align with our vision. 3. Strong Visual Storyboarding Skills: Proficiency in creating and presenting Pre Production Materials (PPM) to clients with comprehensive visual treatments, references, and detailing of shoot and editing styles. 4. Proficiency in Creating Presentations: Demonstrated capability to craft well-structured concept notes and PowerPoint presentations. These materials should elucidate individual concepts and outline content plans and strategies for our clients. 5. Prior Experience in Video Content: While the primary focus is not on content execution, hands-on experience in video content creation is highly preferred. The role emphasizes strong visualization and referencing skills. 6. Demonstrated Patience and Perseverance: Ability to meticulously refine an idea into a full-fledged concept. 7. Extensive Exposure to Pop Culture and Content: In-depth understanding of various show formats, narrative structures, and story treatments is crucial. A profound knowledge of contemporary pop culture and the content creator ecosystem is essential.
