Role Overview: As a senior leader within the Supply Chain function at Airtel, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing Airtel's content partnership strategy across audio, video, and emerging platforms. Your responsibilities will include driving strategic content partnerships, leading commercial negotiations, ensuring operational excellence, and mentoring team members within the content sourcing vertical. Your role is pivotal in anchoring high-value digital content negotiations, unlocking business value, and maintaining Airtel's position as a preferred partner in the evolving content ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Content Partnerships: - Drive high-level commercial engagements and alliances with top-tier content providers. - Identify and onboard strategic partners aligned with Airtel's content and platform strategy. - Commercial Structuring & ROI Analysis: - Lead complex deal negotiations focusing on long-term value creation, cost optimization, and ROI. - Use data-backed insights to influence deal structures and ensure business alignment. - Leadership in Stakeholder Engagement: - Engage with legal, regulatory, finance, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and governance. - Represent content sourcing in senior management forums. - Content Budget Leadership: - Oversee content budget allocation and management to ensure strategic goals are met effectively. - Contractual & Regulatory Excellence: - Drive closure of strategic and high-value content contracts with precision and timeliness. - Mitigate risks through strong legal & regulatory alignment. - Partner Relationship Management: - Build and institutionalize structured partner governance frameworks. - Resolve escalations and champion partner success metrics through quarterly business reviews. - Operational Transformation: - Drive operational efficiency and transformation initiatives within the content sourcing vertical. Qualifications Required: - Work Experience: - Relevant experience in digital content sourcing, rights acquisition, and partner negotiations. - Experience in commercial deals and managing large-scale partner ecosystems. - Industry Exposure: - Strong exposure to digital media, OTT, broadcasting, or telecom content domains. - Prior experience in Ad Sales, licensing, or syndication is advantageous. - Functional Skills: - Strategic negotiation and influencing abilities. - Commercial and financial acumen. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Cross-functional stakeholder management in a matrix environment. - Deep understanding of content rights, monetization models, and regulatory aspects.
