Content Management System Developer (Wagtail)

You will be joining our team as a Senior Backend Engineer with a focus on utilizing your expertise in Python, Django, and Wagtail CMS. Your role will involve developing and maintaining high-quality backend applications and APIs, along with designing scalable solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with front-end applications is a key aspect of this position. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, and fixing bugs in existing applications. Additionally, you will take on a leadership role by mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and sharing best practices with the team. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in backend development using Python, Django, and Wagtail CMS is required. Proficiency in RESTful APIs, web service integration, database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), and knowledge of software engineering best practices will be essential for success in this position.,
