You will be scripting the visual content for YouTube videos required by clients. Your Typical JD Checklist Experience: 23 years in any creative industry Reporting To: Director at Matar About the Role As a Script Writer, your primary responsibility will be to create engaging and compelling scripts for YouTube video content. You will work closely with content creators, video editors, and producers to develop scripts aligned with channel objectives and audience preferences. Your writing will drive engagement and viewership for our clients channels. What Will Your Day-to-Day Work Look Like? Pitch new content ideas to the Head of Content Research approved topics and prepare treatment notes in collaboration with DOP, post-production lead, and other team members Write end-to-end scripts for client YouTube channels Create pitch documents, info decks, outlines, and full scripts Handle all aspects of the pre-production scripting process Skills Required Strong research capabilities Excellent script writing and storytelling skills Ability to write clear and detailed treatment notes Familiarity with AI tools (a plus) Brownie Points If You Have experience at media companies like Brut, Vox, Vice, etc. Leverage AI tools for faster research or content generation Come from a business background (education or professional exposure) Have a passion for high-quality content (beyond reels and UGC) Have a basic understanding of production and post-production workflows What You'll Get A supportive team thats always got your back Freedom to explore offbeat, bold, and unconventional ideas Respect for work-life balance no glorified hustle culture here
