Designation: Social Media Manager Location: Mumbai Working days-5 days (onsite) Role: Develop and execute a compelling social media strategy aligned with the brands vision and business objectives. Lead the development and execution of organic social content and publishing strategy, especially for Instagram, one of our priority platforms. Oversee content creation, ensuring alignment with brand voice, audience preferences, and platform trends. Conceptualize and execute creative contentstrategies tailored to different formats like Reels, Stories, and Carousels. Oversee creation and implementation of the monthly content calendar which includes monthly sales objectives and initiatives. Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes. Define KPIs forsocial media and implementsystems to measure the progress. Requirements: Degree in Marketing, Communication Studies 5+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing. Deep understanding ofsocial media algorithms, trends, and content formats. Strong creative vision with an eye for content, design, and storytelling. JOB SUMMARY: As a Social Media and Graphic Design Coordinator, you will support Edesias global communications by producing branded visual content and managing the organizations social media channels. You will create engaging, impactful content using digital tools while helping grow and sustain Edesias digital presence across all major platforms. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Social Media Management (50%) Manage content calendars and schedule posts across all major platforms: Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter/X. Draft engaging, mission-aligned captions and optimize content for each platform. Monitor engagement, respond to messages and comments, and grow the online community. Analyze performance data and recommend improvements based on insights. Graphic Design (50%) Design high-quality digital content using Canva (and optionally Adobe Creative Suite). Develop visuals for campaigns, donor communications, internal use, and educational materials. Collaborate with the U.S.-based communications team to meet deadlines and brand standards. Maintain organized asset libraries and reusable templates. QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years of experience in social media management and graphic design. Advanced Canva skills required; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Strong grasp of social media trends, content planning, and analytics. Excellent written English skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage projects across time zones. Passion for Edesias humanitarian mission. Research and organize sources and information. Collaborate and brainstorm with the team for new strategies and ideas. Write well-researched and keyword-driven content to boost organic traffic. Create optimized, engaging title tags and meta descriptions to increase click-through rate. Create clear and innovative headlines and body copy. Produce high-quality blog posts on industry-relevant topics and address user queries in detail. Write a wide variety of topics for websites, blogs, social media, Ecom. Create, execute, and maintain a content calendar. Ensure consistency in writing style, fonts, images, and tone. Collaborate with designers and developers to align written content with the brand. Edit and proofread content produced by other team members.
