The Content Analyst role is a meaningful role within the group, responsible for collecting, reviewing & analyzing earnings estimates information received from contributors around the world on publicly traded companies. This role is with in the Quality team, which does the post production audits and plays a key role in maintaining the Data Quality.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using technical and financial knowledge.
- Review the suspects generated (post production), make vital data corrections & issue error points to production analysts.
- Communicate & liaise with internal groups for resolution of data queries.
- Knowledge of consensus and comparable Actuals.
- Understanding and interpretation of estimates available in the research reports.
- Understanding and interpretation of Actuals from companies earning release.
- Developing expertise in data related issues. Build up knowledge of financial regulations, Accounting Standards and market practices/conventions in relevant markets.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness per company standards for the covered product/market.
- Support specific projects, as assigned by manager.
- Adhere to change control procedures, data operations standards and current data policies and procedures.
- Basic knowledge about MS office.
COMPETENCIES
- Ability to work in a time critical environment with a keen eye for detail.
- Estimates content knowledge and process knowledge of Global markets.
- Solid understanding of the Financial Markets.
- Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills.
- Communicate by email in a coherent and professional manner.
- Ability to work within a team and to build interpersonal relationships.
- Knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel & SQL.
- Should be Customer Oriented.
- Good Analytical and data mining skills.
Pc Skills
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and SQL.
- Using in-house database (training will be provided).
- Use the Internet in an effective and appropriate manner.
EDUCATION
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Commerce, Business Management or a related Analytical field.
- Flexibility to work in shifts is a must.
