You will be joining BMC as a QA Engineer to contribute to the success of the organization. In this role, you will be working on complex and distributed software, developing test plans, executing tests, developing automation, and assuring product quality. Here's how you will contribute to BMC's success: - Perform manual tests as well as automation development using Python - Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback - Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases - Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities - Collaborate with various teams to ensure quality testing To ensure your success in this role, you should have the following skillset & experience: - 1-2+ years of experience in a Software QA role (preferably in Python/Selenium) - Experience in testing large scale distributed enterprise applications and platform services - Strong understanding of Networking technologies (TCP/IP, SNMP) - Ability to build automation components/processes for NPMD - Proficiency in writing Test scripts for a quality automation system and implementing specific components as part of different automation pipelines - Ability to explain the process of quality-related phases within the product release process - Self-learner, proactive team player, and ability to collaborate with a global team and remote management - Proficiency in English (verbal and written) Additionally, the following skills would be nice to have and our team can help you develop in these areas: - Containers/docker - Git - RestAPI - Databases (preferably MySQL) - Kubernetes - Cloud IaaS (OCI) - Operating systems (preferably Linux) BMC is committed to ensuring that its employees are compensated fairly and transparently.
