We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Python or Node.js to join our dedicated R&D team in France. You will contribute to cutting-edge solutions that drive innovation in network management systems. Our team values collaboration, autonomy, and continuous growth. You should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as ICT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. With a minimum of 5+ years of experience, you should be proficient in modern WebGUI technologies based on Python, Node.js, or MVC frameworks. The work location for this position is in Bangalore, with a hybrid work mode of 2 days per week in the office. Preferred skills include a strong understanding of Python or Node.js, backend development, API design, and system architecture. Experience with microservices architecture, container-based deployments, RESTful APIs, Helm for Kubernetes deployments, Linux concepts, and MySQL databases is essential. Additionally, soft skills such as autonomy, proactivity, curiosity, strong communication, and collaboration are valued. Fluency in English is required. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining web applications for large-scale data handling, ensuring performance, security, and reliability of applications, developing and deploying microservices-based applications, working with RESTful APIs, optimizing MySQL database solutions, and participating in Agile processes. Troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing existing applications are also key responsibilities. Nice to have skills include experience with modern Web UI frameworks and libraries, familiarity with Laravel and other MVC frameworks, exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure), knowledge of message queue systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka, familiarity with front-end technologies such as React or Vue.js, and appreciation of networking technologies.
