As a Field Service Engineer or Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing technical support and site visit services to clients with STP/ETP/UF/RO/ZLD systems. Your key duties will include troubleshooting operational issues, supporting system start-up and commissioning, and optimizing plant performance parameters such as flow, BOD, COD, pH, and TDS. You will be expected to conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment, identify faulty components, and coordinate replacements with clients. Additionally, training operators on SOPs, safety practices, and troubleshooting will be part of your role, along with developing and delivering site-specific training modules as needed. Documentation and reporting are crucial aspects of this position, requiring you to prepare detailed service reports for each site visit, maintain service records and log sheets, and ensure timely submission of reports to both internal teams and clients. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory and safety compliance at client sites, particularly related to wastewater discharge norms. In terms of consumable management, you will advise clients on chemical selection and dosing schedules, monitor inventory and consumption patterns for key consumables, and maintain service tools and spares inventory for site interventions. This is a full-time position that may require day shift, rotational shift, and weekend availability based on client needs.
