Consulting Technical Manager - Java & AWS

Role Overview: In the modern banking age, financial institutions are striving to integrate Classical Data Drivers and Evolving Business Drivers into a unified platform that enables seamless communication and data sharing for enterprise-wide consumption. The limitations of traditional data platforms to effectively interact with evolving business drivers have necessitated the emergence of Modern Data Platforms. Your role will be crucial in leading the Modern Data Platform Practice and steering the organization towards leveraging data-driven approaches for sustainable growth and expansion. Responsibilities: - Lead the Modern Data Platform Practice by providing solutions for Traditional Datawarehouses on both On-Prem and Cloud platforms - Architect Data Platforms, design Data engineering solutions, select suitable technologies and tools for On-Prem and Cloud services - Strengthen the organization's Modern Data Platform capabilities - Lead Pre-sales discussions on data platforms and provide technology architecture in RFP responses - Drive technology Proof of Concept (POC) and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) initiatives Qualification Required: - Academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Technologies (BE/BTech/MCA) - 12-16 years of experience in Data Engineering and analytics with hands-on experience in Big Data systems - Proficiency in SQL and one of the programming languages: Core Java, Scala, or Python - Hands-on experience in Kafka for enabling Event-driven data processing - Knowledge of Data Services offered by AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Confluent - Understanding of distributed computing and related data structures - Experience in implementing Data Governance and Quality capabilities for Data Platforms - Strong analytical and presentation skills - Ability to build and lead teams - Exposure to leading RDBMS technologies and Data Visualization platforms - Demonstrated experience in AI/ML models for Data Processing and generating Insights - Team player with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance About the Company: Oracle is a world leader in cloud solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technology to address current challenges.
