The opportunity We are looking for a Senior Consultant/Consultant Analytics with expertise in one of the industries across Banking, Insurance, not mandatory. Your key responsibilities You will be responsible for developing Analytics Based Decision Making Frameworks for clients in the Banking and Insurance sectors. This will involve Project Management, Client Management, as well as supporting business development and new analytics solution development activities. Skills and attributes for success To succeed in this role, you will need domain expertise in either Banking or Insurance sectors. You should have experience in statistical modelling (Logistic / Linear regression, GLM modelling, Time-series forecasting, Scorecard development etc.). Hands-on experience in one or more Statistics tools such as SAS, Python & R is required. Experience in Tableau and Qlikview would be a plus. Data mining experience including Clustering and Segmentation is essential. Additionally, experience in Machine learning and Python would be advantageous. To qualify for the role you must have Candidates must have a B Tech from a top-tier engineering school or a Masters in Statistics / Economics from a top university. A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is required, with at least 1 year of managerial experience for Senior Consultant, 1 year for Associate Consultant, and 3 years for Consultant. Ideally you'll also have Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills are important for this role. Being highly flexible, adaptable, and creative is desired. Comfortable interaction with senior executives within the firm and at the client is necessary. Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility are also key attributes.
