Description

Roles and Responsibilities: Perform end-to-end testing of Appian (BPM, Workflow) applications and APIs. Collaborate with developers and project managers to deliver solutions that align with business needs. Ensure high-quality standards in all deliverables, following HSBC best practices. Prepare project-related documentation and support compliance and audit checks. Ensure all project documentation complies with audit and security policies. Provide consultancy and support in response to queries from developers and business teams regarding security access. Work closely with global and regional stakeholders and development teams on regulatory, mandatory, and development projects. Ensure systems comply with HSBC infrastructure and security standards. Participate in project initiation activities, understand requirements, assist in test estimations, and formulate test strategies or test plans. Allocate tasks, monitor execution, and coordinate test schedules. Coordinate with Project Managers to set up the test environment, test bed, and test data. Conduct reviews and inspections of test deliverables and provide feedback. Execute tests, track and monitor defects, and produce test metrics and reports (DSR/WSR) for stakeholders. Lead adoption of Test Automation (BDD) using Cucumber with Selenium in line with HSBC Appian Strategy. Innovate and implement efficient testing methods to meet project goals without compromising quality. Provide feedback for refining testing practices and methodologies. Support Value Stream projects, with a strong understanding of Agile, SAFe, or Scrum frameworks. Identify reusable assets for BST and Automation to demonstrate project savings. Conduct performance testing using JMeter and provide expertise in performance tuning. Coordinate with interfacing systems and provide integration support. Maintain constructive working relationships within and outside the team, ensuring compliance with organizational processes. Experience Requirements: 7-9 years experience in functional system testing, UAT, and performance testing. Experience with Selenium, BDD framework, and Cucumber. Proficiency in API testing tools such as Soap UI, Postman, and REST. Proven expertise in designing test frameworks and workload models for performance testing. Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. Experience with DevOps practices and tools including CI/CD, Jenkins, and GitHub. Proficiency in test management and documentation tools such as JIRA, ALM, and Confluence. Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and identify bottlenecks. Excellent multitasking ability, with skills to manage multiple priorities and track issues effectively. Education: B.Tech M.Tech (Dual), B.Tech, M. Tech.
