Consultant Software Engineer

The ideal candidate for the position of Software Engineer at our client, a global leader in energy management and automation, should possess strong expertise in static code analysis and cloud-native development. You will be responsible for performing static code analysis on MEAN/MERN stack applications using industry tools, developing clean, maintainable, and reusable code components, and leveraging Azure Cloud services for scalable software solutions. Collaboration on sustainability initiatives, including CO emission, carbon intensity, and Software Energy Intensity (SEI) calculations, will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will contribute to automation and CI/CD efforts using GitHub Actions. To excel in this role, you must have hands-on experience in writing clean, reusable code and be proficient in Python and Azure Cloud. A passion for sustainable software practices and familiarity with green software libraries will be advantageous. Strong static code analysis skills, experience with clean code and building reusable components, and good knowledge of the Azure Cloud platform are essential. Working experience with MEAN/MERN stack analysis using static tools, along with Python programming skills, will be highly valued. Nice to have skills include work experience with the Green Software Foundation Library, familiarity with CO2 emission, carbon intensity, and SEI calculations, and knowledge of AWS cloud services. Experience with Agile methodologies, GitHub and GitHub Actions, end-to-end automation frameworks, and cloud infrastructure/DevOps will also be beneficial in this role.,
