Responsibilities

1. Manage and design supply chain solutions for the DHL Fulfillment Network (DFN) in India.
2. Develop and implement warehouse process designs tailored to sector-specific requirements.
3. Create customized solutions for the Technology, Automotive, Retail, and Omni-channel sectors.
4. Support the complete solution lifecycle from concept to implementation and operational handover.
5. Develop process flows, warehouse layouts, and optimized material flow strategies.
6. Design and validate warehouse processes using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Manhatt an and SAP.
7. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, IT, Finance, Business Development etc..
8. Prepare detailed solution proposals and functional design documentation for new business opportunities.
9. Develop cost models, resource plans, and space utilization models based on client and operational requirements.
10. Conduct feasibility assessments for new projects including process simulation and throughput analysis.
11. Provide project implementation support during transition and go-live phases.
12. Coordinate with IT teams for WMS configurations and process mapping during solution deployment.
13. Evaluate and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency and cost optimization.
14. Act as subject matter expert (SME) for technology and process digitalization initiatives within the India North region.
15. Lead efforts in accelerated digitalization gathering, evaluating, and deploying automation and digital process solutions.
16. Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and provide guidance to peers and new team members on solution design methodologies.
17. Ensure all solutions are aligned with DHL global design standards, compliance, and safety requirements.
18. Engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into executable designs.
19. Support sustainability and innovation initiatives within the solution design function.
20. Maintain a strong understanding of logistics trends, digital tools, and emerging technologies in warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years
• Must have Solutions Design experience in Retail, Consumer and Technology.
• Possess knowledge of Warehouse automation.
• Qualification: BE + MBA is preferred
