Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Consultant - PICU at Ovum Hospitals, located in Bengaluru South. The Consultant will be responsible for providing critical care to pediatric patients in the PICU, managing medical emergencies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The Consultant will also ensure the implementation of treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and maintain detailed medical records. Providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients and their families is a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Pediatric Intensive Care, with experience in managing critical pediatric cases.
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating various pediatric conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
• Advanced knowledge of medical technology and equipment used in the PICU.
• Compassionate approach to patient care and the ability to provide emotional support to families.
• MD or equivalent degree in Pediatrics, with specialization or fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care.
• Valid medical license to practice in India.
• Prior experience working in a PICU setting is highly desirable.
