Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Consultant – PICU at RANI CHILDREN HOSPITAL & RESEARCH CENTRE, located in Ranchi. The Consultant will be responsible for managing patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), overseeing treatment plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high standards of pediatric care. The role also involves mentorship and training of junior medical staff, engaging in clinical research, and participating in hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications Expertise in Pediatric Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, and Critical Care Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams Leadership and mentorship abilities for training junior medical staff Dedication to clinical research and staying updated with the latest advancements in pediatric care Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Pediatrics or Pediatric Intensive Care (DM/DrNB/FNB/Fellowship) Relevant certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferably in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Show more Show less
