Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Examine, diagnose, and treat disorders of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.
Manage acute neurological emergencies such as stroke, seizures, and meningitis.
Conduct and interpret neurological investigations such as EEG, EMG, NCS, and imaging studies.
Provide consultation services to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency cases.
Collaborate with neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, and other specialists for comprehensive care.
Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and morbidity/mortality meetings.
Maintain detailed and accurate medical records as per hospital protocols.
Engage in academic activities, CME programs, and clinical audits to enhance professional standards.
Adhere to hospital policies, infection control practices, and ethical medical standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification:
MD / DNB (General Medicine) with DM / DNB (Neurology) from a recognized institution.
Experience:
Minimum 05 years post-DM/DNB experience preferred (freshers may also apply).
License:
Valid registration with Medical Council of India / State Medical Council.
