Consultant || Model Validation (Gen AI Risk)

You should have at least 3+ years of professional experience in Gen AI (Generative Artificial Intelligence) for financial risk, encompassing risk management and quantitative modeling. Additionally, a minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in financial risk, covering risk management and quantitative modeling, preferably within the banking sector, is required. You should be well-versed in the development and implementation of Gen AI models, whether vendor-based or in-house, for various applications. Demonstrating a profound understanding of the regulatory landscape pertaining to AI usage is essential, alongside possessing strong computer literacy. Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SAS, SQL, R, and Python is crucial for this role. An ideal candidate should hold a graduate degree (Masters or PhD preferred) in a quantitative field like AI/Gen AI, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Finance, or Financial Engineering. Your key responsibilities will include staying updated on industry standards and methodologies related to Gen AI and other emerging modeling techniques. You will be responsible for validating critical models used in the Bank, involving engagement with stakeholders/model owners, drafting validation reports, assigning model validation ratings, and negotiating remedial actions post-validation. Identifying opportunities for business enhancement regarding models and offering a model risk advisory function to the business will be part of your role. Your contribution through independent review and challenging existing models to add value is crucial.
