Job Description

As a Product Owner with 8-15 years of experience in IT, including at least 5 years specifically in the role of a Product Owner within the Healthcare domain, you will be responsible for leading and driving the product development process. Your expertise in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, as well as your strong grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), will be crucial in this role. You will be required to collaborate effectively with both business and technology stakeholders to develop and maintain Product & Technology Roadmaps. Your strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills will play a key role in ensuring the success of the product. Additionally, your ability to drive efficiency and innovation in product development will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions. Key responsibilities will include owning and leading the team's backlog, defining user stories and acceptance criteria, and prioritizing backlog items. You will actively participate in Program Increment (PI) planning, work with the development team on sizing features and estimating stories, and support Sprint activities to ensure smooth execution. Your role will also involve collaborating with various teams, such as Product Managers, Architects, Tech Leads, and Quality Assurance, to align product vision, define non-functional requirements, and support automated testing. Your qualifications should include a Bachelors/Masters degree in Information Management, Business, or a related field, along with relevant certifications in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe. Scrum Product Owner certification is preferred, and familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) would be beneficial. Exposure to the US healthcare domain, particularly Medicare Advantage, is a plus.
