Consultant - HANA Modeling

As a HANA Modeling Professional at YASH Technologies, you will be responsible for data analysis, requirements gathering, data modeling design, data integration, transformation, performance optimization, security, and access control within the SAP HANA environment. Your role will involve understanding business needs, translating them into data models, analyzing source data, collaborating with business users to define key metrics, and designing and implementing data models using HANA modeling tools. You will create conceptual, logical, and physical data models, develop data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading into HANA, implement data cleansing and quality checks, and optimize data models for query performance. Additionally, you will define user roles and privileges for data access within the HANA model, ensuring security and access control. To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of data modeling concepts such as dimensional, star schema, and snowflake schema, expertise in SAP HANA modeling tools and features including calculation views, attribute views, and analytical views, SQL programming skills, and knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices. Experience with SAP BOBJ, Power BI, Snowflake, and Data Warehouse Cloud is preferred and considered an added advantage.
