Technical Excellence
Foundational knowledge of forensic accounting understanding red flags in financial statements, transaction testing, and tracing fund flows.
Exposure to fraud investigation techniques background checks, open-source intelligence (OSINT), email/communication review, and data validation.
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools ability to handle large datasets, use pivot tables/lookup functions, and perform trend or variance analysis.
Awareness of digital forensics and e-discovery tools (EnCase, Relativity, Nuix, or similar) with willingness to learn hands-on.
